“Plans are nothing. Planning is everything.” – Dwight D. Eisenhower
Many organisations have strong campaign ideas but struggle to turn them into focused, coordinated action. Teams may agree on the importance of a campaign, but lack clarity on the target audience, core message, call to action, timeline, and responsibilities.
Without a clear campaign roadmap, communications can become fragmented. Content is produced, events are organised, and channels are activated, but the campaign may fail to build momentum or deliver measurable impact.
Campaign Roadmap is a structured approach to planning communications campaigns that are aligned, realistic, and designed to achieve clear goals. It helps organisations move from broad ideas to a practical campaign plan that connects objectives, audiences, messages, channels, partners, and deliverables.
I start by facilitating a collaborative planning process using the Communications Plan Canvas. This visual tool helps policy, programme, leadership, and communications teams define the campaign together, challenge assumptions, and build shared ownership before launch.
Once the direction is clear, I translate the discussion into a detailed campaign plan with a timeline, responsibilities, content priorities, and key milestones. If needed, I can also support the rollout, helping to coordinate with stakeholders, developping content, tracking performance, and adapting the campaign as it evolves.
My previous work as campaign manager includes the development of numerous successful campaigns such as RaiseYourHand, SolutionWind, and MissionFinance, helping to build bridges and alliances thanks to meticulous planning, stakeholder alignment and rigourous goal setting.
